Metropolitain [], developed by French data visualization studio Dataveyes, provides a dynamic 2D and 3D view on the hectic and feverish metro of the city of Paris.

Based on data on crowd turnouts retrieved from RATP (Autonomous Operator of Parisian Transports) and the travel times between stations from Isokron, and programmed on top of WebGL and D3.js, the interactive online map reveals the average journey time between Paris metro stations, at any hour of the day, as well as the number of people passing through at each station.
