Paul Prudence said that to me as we talk about the processing crowd. And he is right. This is visualization of the whole flickr processing.org group.
As some people ask for: here is a small example how to draw this graph in processing.

wow!!
Wow indeed. Have you (or are you planning to) release the source to make this type of diagram?
I’ve no plan to release the code at this time cause its very rough and its focused on the flickrj API, but I can send you my java classes if you want. By the way it was much easier to build then it’s looks like.
nice!

That is social networking !!!
Very cool. NYT has a similar interactive graph of Presidential Debates: http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2007/12/15/us/politics/DEBATE...
The interactive graphs allows for showing more data by having multiple contexts.
I guess the only difference is what tool you use to present the output. Whether that be a line/graph tool or an interactive flash/flex graph.
Looking forward to seeing more cool stuff from you 🙂
Hi, I’m an admin for a group called SML Viz, and we’d love to have your photo added to the group.
what do the colors represent?
There is no meaning in the color, only that every member has its own.
Very meta, very cool.
Unbelievably fab! Lovely idea.

Great, great graph!
Maybe you could better appreciate it on http://www.closr.it/show/EXYDKpVtHc8.
Thanks,

This is great! I used your code to produce my own graph based on Twitter replies in a Tweet stream.

Is the code (Java classes) for this available now? I’d like to do the same for a group I admin. I’ve tried several times over the last ~12 hours, but there’s some problem with site http://www.eskimoblood.de:
Unable to connect
Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at http://www.eskimoblood.de.
