It’s recently occured to me that this board is rather interesting. When I first got this board freshman year, I had delusions of functionality. Looking back, it’s exceedingly apparent that it has served no functionality. It has instead become a scrapbook of sorts for significant papers and objects in my life (and some not so significant ones). As newer object accumulate the older ones get pushed underneath.

I started collecting a few photographs and quotes on it freshman year, without really thinking about it. Then there was a period of time in which I couldn’t find any thumbtacks and I was too lazy to buy any, so the collection stopped. In Junior year I bought some again and started collecting. Today, looking at it, I find it very interesting. An abbreviated story of the last year or so of my life.

The only functional thing on it is the Oberlin business card I added to the bottom corner today.
