Alabama, USC, LSU, Oregon and Oklahoma head up the Associated Press college football rankings. But who leads the nation in Foursquare check-ins after the first week of the season?

That would be Pittsburgh, which is not in the AP top 25 and drew 921 Foursquare check-ins at its stunning season-opening home loss to tiny Youngstown State. That game had an announced attendance of 40,837, meaning that just over 2% of fans at the game used Foursquare to share their location.

Texas drew more check-ins than any other top-25 team, with about 665. But attendance at that game was announced at just over 101,000, meaning that fewer than one in 100 fans checked in with Foursquare. USC had the stron…
